The difference between artificial diamond and diamond
Diamonds are dazzling, beautiful, and jewelry that women love. They are made into diamond necklaces, diamond rings, and diamond pendants. Compared to well-known diamonds, diamonds are a bit unfamiliar to humans, and there are also artificial diamonds. So what is the difference between them and diamonds? Let's find the answer:
The difference between artificial diamond and diamond lies in the solvent used. Natural diamonds grow in silicate solutions, so the solubility of carbon is very low. But artificial diamonds are different. Its carbon solubility is much higher than that of silicates.
The temperature of artificial diamonds is different from that of diamonds. The growth temperature of natural diamonds is about 1000-1300 degrees Celsius, while the growth temperature of artificial diamonds is higher than 1400 degrees Celsius.
The difference in saturation between artificial diamonds and diamonds is that the supersaturation of artificial diamonds is greater than that of natural diamonds. Therefore, regardless of the surface of the artificial diamond, it can be predicted to be rough, but in reality, the observed artificial diamond shows a smoother interface.
